The racquetball court/guest house and pool cabana were a part of a series of new structures that Stein Architects designed on this 8-acre estate.  Other projects, including renovation of the main house and a new garage and music building were designed but not completed.

The construction is located in a secluded area of the property.  The court is built into a hill, with hilltop entry serving both court and guest suite.  The structure is a large rectangular box with only one exterior side exposed.  The design carves away at the front elevation, recessing the entry under a heavy trellis supported by pergola elements similar to those at the existing main house.  This pergola/trellis is present at the pool-level cabana, extending in front of the box of the cabana.  The cabana contains a full kitchen and has a shower area in the rear.
